How did you get into Throttle?
I first auditioned for Throttle in September 2005. Martyn aproched me in Music 90 when i was trying out some guitar equipment and asked if i also play bass. I said i could play and a day later i went practicing with them and auditioned.
How did you learn your instrument?
I first started playing guitar and now switched to bass. At the age of 16 i started listening to metal/rock music and the intrest in playing the music i loved became a hobbie. I learned myself with the help of a few chord books and band music books with Tabs. I started to learn bands such as Nirvana and Green Day and progressed to bandslike Metallica and Megadeth.
Family musical influences?
My borther Jon-Paul plays guitar and has influenced me alot but not with the music he plays. He's influenced by Oasis and other indie bands but the chord structures used in this type of music is also used in metal/rock music, its just got heavier distortion and alot of parm muting and blistering solos. My older sister Amanda also influenced me alot, getting me into bands i love still today such as Metallica, Korn, Machine Head etc.
